The Real Problem With the Economy
The world has been going through a major financial crisis for the past couple of years. Even though some news reports are saying that the recession is over, the personal situation of most people is quite the opposite. Many people are heavily in debt with credit cards, medical bills, student loans, and the list goes on. Many people are also in danger of losing their homes to foreclosure. At the same time, more and more people seem to be becoming more financially savvy. There are tons of personal finance blogs discussing ways to save money, and the banks seem to be having a hard time finding people who are looking for new loans, credit cards, and other debt. Although advertisers continue to bombard us, more and more people have the goal of a debt-free life. And that is where the conflict becomes obvious. What's best for individuals and households isn't what's best for the economy. The economy flourishes when the maximum number of people are struggling from month to month making assorted minimum payments. It's not best for the economy when people take the bus instead of owning a car, grow their own food, educate their own children, and do their own home repairs. It's not the best thing for the economy when people put together a large nest egg instead of going to the mall. It's the best thing for the economy when the general public slaves under a feudalistic system. Adult Advertising
